Countdown begins to vital relegation scrap

Northampton Town travel to face Dagenham & Redbridge this Saturday

With all but one League Two game frozen off at the weekend it leaves the Cobblers as you were at the foot of the table, three points and two places behind the Daggers.

Aidy Boothroyd will have a further week to bed his new signings into the club and will hope that the deadline arrival of the vastly experienced Clarke Carlisle will provide a huge lift to his squad.

Dagenham ended a poor run of form in their last game with a vital 3-2 home win against Rotherham.
