Northampton Town's injury problems show no sign of improving after Chris Doig suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old former Nottingham Forest defender, who has been sidelined for almost four months, faces another three weeks out of action after suffering a recurrence of the injury in a reserve team game.
Cobblers boss Stuart Gray told the club's official website: "Chris Doig suffered another hamstring injury playing for the reserves on Tuesday and that was obviously disappointing.
"You can do all the running in the world, but it's only when you get out on the pitch that you can really test the injury and, unfortunately, this setback is going to put him back another two or three weeks.
"Brett Johnson has suffered a bit of a relapse and Colin Larkin is still out with a groin problem, so both will be missing on Saturday."
