Northampton Town manager Stuart Gray has brought former Wolves defender Gabor Gyepes to the Sixfields Stadium until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Hungary international played 24 games for Wolves after moving to Molineux from Ferencvaros in a £1million deal.
His contract was terminated by mutual consent when he suffered a knee injury and returned to his homeland to continue his rehabilitation.
Gray told the Cobblers' official website: "I know all about Gabor's quality from working with him at Wolves.
"He's a big and powerful central defender who's a very good age. He was doing really well at Wolves until he got injured.
"I've been monitoring his progress since, and he's spent the last few weeks training with us to allow us to have a look at him and assess him, and I've been very impressed.
"The contract includes an option in our favour for next season so, if he does well, his stay will be extended."
