Cobblers move interests Little

Wolves youngster Mark Little has not ruled out the possibility of making his loan switch to Northampton Town permanent.

The 20-year-old right-back has made 26 first-team starts for the Cobblers in his two stints at the Sixfields Stadium this year and is aware that his long-term future could be with the League One club.

"You never know what's going to happen in the future but, if I'm not playing at Wolves, I'm going to need a club," Little told the Chronicle & Echo.

"The manager here has said that he'd take me in the blink of an eye, but we'll have to see what happens.

"I'm not getting in the squad at Wolves and I need to be playing to get myself into the Premier League, so we'll just see what happens.

"I've signed here for another month, which gives me about another six games, and when that's up I can extend it for another month, but after that unfortunately I'll have to go back because of the type of loan."
