Cobblers make double short-term swoop

Bas Savage and Ashley Westwood have signed non-contract terms with Northampton Much-travelled 29-year-old striker Savage is known to Town boss Gary Johnson having played under him at Bristol City while Westwood is familiar to Sixfields' regulars having previously played for the club. The experienced central defender will cover for injuries after being handed a similar deal.
