Cobblers extend Thornton contract

Northampton Town midfielder Kevin Thornton has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.The 23-year-old joined the Cobblers from Nuneaton Town in January on a short-term basis. Manager Ian Sampson told the club website: "It is clear that he has a lot of talent and a lot of ability. "The challenge for Kevin is to show that on a consistent basis next season.
