Cobblers extend Thornton contract

Northampton Town have agreed a deal with Kevin Thornton to keep him at the club until the end of the season.The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Cobblers in January initially on a monthly contract. Manager Ian Sampson told the club's website: "Kevin has done well and has impressed us. "He has earned his longer contract.
