Northampton Town midfielder Bradley Johnson has agreed a new two-year contract to remain at Sixfields until 2009.
The 19-year-old broke into the Cobblers first-team under new boss Stuart Gray this season and been rewarded for his excellent form in 23 appearances, where he has scored four times.
"We are delighted that Bradley has signed this contract," Gray told the club's official website.
"He has come into the side and done really well. He is a young player who is still learning the game, but he has a lot of ability and a very good attitude.
"He has a willingness to learn and we are very pleased that he will be here for at least the next two years."
