Aidy Boothroyd has signed one player and been linked with two others

Versatile Brentford youngster Emmanuel Oyeleke has signed a one-month loan deal with the Cobblers, Boothroyd saying that the 20-year-old is 'a strong, athletic, combative midfield player who can play anywhere across the midfield or at full-back.'

Swindon Town midfielder Lee Cox and Ipswich Town winger Josh Carson, meanwhile, are also being mentioned as targets as Northampton look to build on their recent upward momentum in League Two.

From the fringes of Boothroyd's squad, Paul Turnbull has joined Lincoln City on loan.
