Bunn hints at Cobblers stay

Northampton Town's highly-rated goalkeeper Mark Bunn has hinted that he is willing to commit his long-term future to the club.

The 23-year-old has been a first-team regular for the last two seasons, but only has 12 months left on his current Cobblers contract.

However, he told the Chronicle & Echo: "I'm still very happy here. As long as I'm at Northampton I'll continue to do my very best for the club.

"It's down to me and the gaffer at the moment. I don't want to say too much, but we're dealing with it and we'll see what happens this year.

"I've been here for six years and I've had a great time with Northampton. They gave me my chance and I've paid them back.

"Hopefully I can have another good year and we can just take it from there. I'm happy to stay for one more season and, who knows, maybe more. We'll wait and see."
