Northampton's game at AFC Wimbledon has fallen victim to the wet weather

The heavy rain of the past few days has taken its toll in South-West London and saw the fixture cancelled on Boxing Day morning.

That meant a wasted journey for Aidy Boothroyd and his players although after getting a head start on the festive fixtures on Saturday (when the Cobblers won while most other League Two games were postponed) it could prove to be a positive for the upcoming games on Saturday and New Year's Day.
