Northampton have offered professional contracts to three members of the club`s title-chasing youth team. The club have seen a host of youngsters come through the ranks in recent seasons and have offered deals to goalkeeper Paul Walker, midfielder Michael Jacobs and striker Alex Konstantinou for next season. Walker has been a regular on the bench this season while Jacobs has made two appearances in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy. Manager Ian Sampson said: "It is not often you offer three players from the same year professional contracts but the fact that we have is a tribute to their hard work. "Paul, Michael and Alex have all travelled with or been involved with the first team this season and have shown what they can do both in training and in the reserves. "We don't give contracts out easily but they have earned their offers. This is just the start of the hard work for them, but they have a chance and if they continue to work hard, listen and progress, then they will be giving themselves the best chance of carving out a good career for themselves."
