Wycombe Upbeat For Cobblers Clash

The Chairboys are virtually safe after their 2-2 draw against Rotherham in midweek

Manager Gareth Ainsworth will look for his side to reach the 50-point mark when they entertain Northampton at the weekend and took heart from a good showing against the Cobblers' promotion rivals.

He said: "We caused Rotherham some problems and make no mistake they are a big side with a big budget and big expectations so to take four points off them this season is a good marker to where we are.

"I am happy with a point after 2-1 so I think it cancels out the bad feeling I had after the Rochdale game and it takes us one point closer to my target of 50 points, which will mean less sleepless nights for me."
