Will Sky Blues Deal Be Worth It?

News that Coventry City may be groundsharing at Sixfields has unleased a storm of protest from Sky Blues fans

The torrent of criticism is mainly aimed at Coventry's owners, the hedge fund SISU, but there have been one or two comments aimed towards the Cobblers for their apparent agreement to a move that very much goes against the grain of English football and its history.

No final decision has yet been taken (the Football League has to ratify the move and the sale of the part of Coventry City that is in administration is also not yet complete) but the Town hierarchy may have been taken aback by the amount of publicity the news has generated.

When it was thought that the Sky Blues would actually be groundsharing with Walsall, Saddlers boss Dean Smith was vocal in his thoughts that such a move would be detrimental to the Bescot Stadium surface.

Will Aidy Boothroyd have similar thoughts about the apparently impending arrival of his former club at Sixfields?
