Wigan Keeper Wants More Wembley Joy

14 May 2013 15:20
Lee Nicholls has been speaking about his trip to Wembley last Saturday to watch Wigan win the FA Cup

The 20-year-old was sat in the stands as his parent club defeated Manchester City with an injury time winner and will take to the pitch this weekend in goal for Northampton as they take on Bradford City in the League Two play-off final.

Nicholls believes the experience will stand him in good stead for the Cobblers big game after a season that has seen him make 50 appearances to date and hopes to provide the kind of boost to the town of Northampton that the Latics did for Wigan with their unlikely triumph.

His interview can be read in full on the official Football League website.
