We'll be up there - Cobblers boss

Gray - who has so far signed Steve Guinan and Craig Hinton following relegation last month - has been handed a reduced wage bill but expects the Cobblers to challenge. He said: "I think we're on an even keel with about 70% of the other teams in League Two. You look at last year and Bradford and Shrewsbury both had budgets of £1.8million, but we're definitely nowhere near that. "The budget has come down from last year and rightly so because of the money the football club will lose. "We've got to bring in people who are going to stand up and fight, and people who are going to be capable of playing 40-odd games because we're going to be going Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday most weeks. "There's not going to be much time for people to recover next season and we need to bear that in mind."
