Aidy Boothroyd is running the rule over potential new signings

Three players are looking to make an impact during Northampton Town's pre-season training camp in Croatia after being handed the chance to impress Aidy Boothroyd in their respective bids to find a new club.

Lateef Elford-Alliyu, Nigel Oldfield Spence-Neita, JJ Hooper have joined up with the Cobblers as they are put through their paces in the sunshine.

Taking trialists away on tour allows the manager to see not only what they can do on the field but also how they fit in to the squad that he has built.

With a 46-game League Two season to come that is almost as important as what a potential signing can bring to the team.
