Trialists set for second chance
Gray saw a number of players - including former Cobblers defender Chris Willmott - play in the 1-0 win at Brackley on Saturday and plans to give them another 90 minutes to prove themselves.
He said: "One or two players looked a little bit rusty but it is still early days yet.
"All in all it was a good work out and there are lots of things we can now build on going into the game against Histon.
"All of the trialists that featured on Saturday have been invited back for the Histon game and then we will make decisions after that."
