Trialist quartet feature in Cobblers draw
An experimental Northampton side drew 2-2 with Oxford City on Tuesday night Trialists Rene Marsh Brown, Calum Flanagan, Jordan Dupray and Adi Yussef all played while Tadhg Purcell got himself on the scoresheet as he looks to prove his fitness to Gary Johnson. The Irish striker is being closely monitored by a number of clubs keen to sign him on loan for the start of the season. Northampton boss Johnson kept the majority of his big guns back for Wednesday night's friendly against Nottingham Forest at Sixfields, which marks the return to English soil of former national team boss Steve McClaren.
