Torquay boss puts blame on referee

Paul Buckle felt his side were 'robbed' of all three points at Northampton on Friday. The Gulls were celebrating what looked like a vital victory when Billy Kee put them ahead in injury time only for the Cobblers to rescue a draw thanks to Guillem Bauza's strike. Buckle however, whose side were heavily delayed on the way to the game leading to an 8:15pm start, felt both of the home goals had a whiff of controversy about them. "We've been robbed of three points by two decisions; both Northampton's goals came from free-kicks which left me puzzled," he said. "My team worked unbelievably hard especially after the day we've had. We left Devon at midday and we've had a nightmare trip to Northampton. "On the balance of the play we deserved all three points and I'm desperately gutted for my team that we didn't get them."
