The game at Sixfields will be a welcome return to home soil after another disappointing defeat on the road at Exeter left Town two places but only one point behind the automatic promotion spots.
Saturday's opponents Accrington are battling against the drop but will travel in good heart after taking four points from their last two games.
Speaking after the weekend draw with Torquay, boss Leam Richardson said: "We have done enough to win the game but there are still positives to take - like back-to-back clean sheets and that the lads have come together in the last few games.
"If we stick together we will climb the table."
