SPL clubs struggling to compete with League Two?

The signing of Icelandic midfielder Kari Arnason by Rotherham United has caused eyebrows to be raised in Scotland

The Millers made their seventh signing of the summer when capturing the 29-year-old from Aberdeen last week and, although Rotherham's spending is likely to be more than any other League Two club it is a sign that Scotland's top league is struggling to compete.

An article in The Scotsman over the weekend highlights that the talent drain from north of the border is becoming worrying for those trying to market the league to potential sponsors and broadcasters.
