What's been happening at Northampton Town Cobblers manager Gary Johnson is hopeful of adding to his threadbare squad after a hectic spell of driving around the country talking to potential new signings. “It’s been a really busy time," he said ahead of a short break in Spain, with a new signing tipped to arrive at Sixfields on Tuesday. “I have travelled north, south, east and west to meet people and their representatives. “I need to get players in because, as we know, a lot have moved on.” Back at HQ, two games are taking place at Sixfields this week with the England C team first up on Thursday as they face their Portuguese counterparts in the International Challenge Trophy Final. The game starts at 7:30pm with admission free for Under-16's and £5 for adults. On Saturday the Cobblers honour former player and coach Roly Mills with a tribute match. A Northampton side containing former boss Ian Sampson will take on a visiting squad which includes Nigel Clough and Des Walker among others. The game starts at 1:00pm and admission is free for Under-10's and £8 for adults with the Alzheimer's Society set to benefit.
