Sampson targeting additions
Northampton manager Ian Sampson is confident of adding to his squad in the coming days.
Sampson has offered a contract to veteran full-back Marcus Hall and is confident that his rebuilding work this summer has gone to plan.
He said: "All of the new players did well against Long Buckby on Saturday and made me think I made good decisions bringing them to the club.
"I was pleased with what I saw.
"I am working on bringing a couple more faces in but things may not happen before Tuesday night.
"At Kettering we will again play two different teams giving the players 45 minutes each and we hope to get more fitness into the players."
