Sampson needs to offload to bring in
The Cobblers boss must decide on the future of Patrick Kanyuka, whose contract expires next month, while fellow defender Danny Swailes has returned to MK Dons.[LNB]Sampson said: "Patrick Kanyuka's contract is up on January 23 so we will make a decision on him in the next couple of weeks.[LNB]"We want to improve the squad in January but to do that we probably need to get one or two players out as well. We have got one or two targets and I think we maybe need a centre-forward and a midfielder."[LNB]Striker Adebayo Akinfenwa's contract expires at the end of the season, but Sampson insisted: "He is going nowhere and he is very much in our plans. We are at the wrong end of the table at the moment and we need our best players to get us up the table."[LNB][LNB]
