The Cobblers salvaged a point with Alex Dyer on hand to score before John Johnson notched a last-minute header to earn a share of the spoils. Simon Ramsden and Michael Boulding had scored twice inside five minutes to put the visitors in control.[LNB]Sampson, who admitted he feels in a better position to replace Stuart Gray on a permanent basis said: "I'll speak to the chairman after the weekend, but I feel I'm in a better position to make a claim for the job after the last two games than I was after my first three in charge.[LNB]"I've changed a lot of things since I took over and hopefully we've turned the corner. If I get the chance to do the job full-time I can make more changes.[LNB]"But all credit to the players out there, they showed great character to come back from 2-0 down."[LNB][LNB]
