Sampson hopes to take fizz out of Coke
Northampton manager Ian Sampson will keep a close eye on former midfielder Giles Coke when he lines up against them for Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Coke left a sour taste in the mouth when he originally agreed to stay and sign a new deal at Sixfields before leaving to join Motherwell on a free transfer in the summer of 2009.
But Sampson insists he has no hard feelings and said: "I'm not interested in what happened then or the politics of football.
"I wasn't even manager then. He has moved on and so have we.
"But he is a good player without a doubt so he will have to be watched."
