The Cobblers twice fell behind to goals from Barry Hayles at Whaddon Road and looked likely to suffer a fourth consecutive defeat, but Akinfenwa was on hand with a brace of his own to take his goal tally for Northampton to an impressive 30 in 60 starts.[LNB]Sampson said: "Adebayo is a handful, he's training better and the more we can get him training and out on the pitch the better.[LNB]"I said to him at half-time there was a hat-trick for the taking, but he didn't quite get there."[LNB]Sampson added: "We've been on a bad run so it was important not to get beaten although we had a great chance to win.[LNB]"'It was a typical League Two game, route-one stuff from Cheltenham, who played to their strengths with Alsop and Hayles, and we found it difficult to deal with in the first half."[LNB][LNB]
