Same again for Johnson

Northampton manager Gary Johnson is set to name an unchanged side against Torquay on Friday night as he searches for his first win in charge. Johnson saw a much-improved performance in the 1-1 draw at Bradford last Saturday and hopes to have the same XI available. Centre-back Dean Beckwith could be back in the squad after a groin injury but he may have to settle for a place on the bench as new signing Byron Webster made an impression against the Bantams. Midfielder Ryan Gilligan will miss out on facing the club he joined on loan earlier this year after he turned his ankle in the warm-up at Bradford, while captain Andy Holt is struggling with a knock. Striker Billy McKay is out for around six weeks after dislocating his elbow while fellow forward Leon McKenzie (knee) trained on Thursday for the first time in recent weeks and could make the squad. Johnson said: "Leon has been in the physio room since I've been here and I'm sure he is as frustrated as everyone else but you do have to manage the injury that he's got. I'm not sure if he has done enough to be involved on Friday but we will see how he comes through training."
