Gray said: "As you would expect with any player from Arsenal, Paul is technically a very good player.
"He is very quick and powerful and he will benefit from being involved in a first-team squad at this stage in his career.
"He can play in more than one position and he will add to our squad for the next month. We have got a proud record of developing our own young players and helping to look after the young players we have borrowed from other clubs and I think that is why Arsene Wenger and the staff at Arsenal have been willing to let us borrow Paul.
"Hopefully he will come in and hit the ground running and I am pleased to have been able to bring two players in this week. We are still working hard to strengthen the squad further because I still think we are a bit thin on the ground."
