Northampton boss Gary Johnson is mulling over his options to prepare his side for next season With short trips to face Brackley Town and Oxford City having now been added to with a home game against Wycombe Wanderers, Johnson is looking at the possibility of a tour abroad for his charges. Portugal and Latvia are the main options with the Northampton boss having a host of contacts in both countries. Promoted Wycombe will come to Sixfields on the final weekend of pre-season in a bid to replicate the kind of game the Cobblers will be facing over the 46 game League Two season. "I was very keen for us to arrange a match like this and I see it as a dress rehearsal for us both on and off the field," said Johnson. “This game will be very much about preparation and will be a key match for us."
