Potential Owls clash for Cobblers
Northampton have missed out on a bye for the opening round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy 16 clubs have been handed a bye into the next round leaving the remaining clubs to be split into four regional sections. Northampton are in the Northern Section East and could face fallen giants Sheffield Wednesday.
