Points the only focus for Burton skipper

John McGrath knows his side's games in hand mean nothing unless they are won Burton are in the bottom two of League Two ahead of Tuesday night's game against a Northampton Town side who still harbour hopes of a play-off place. Postponements and an FA Cup run mean the Brewers have plenty of games in hand but more results like Saturday's defeat against Rotherham will deepen the relegation worries of Albion fans. Quoted in the Derby Telegraph, McGrath said: "We're all grown-ups here and we'll go out on Tuesday night with the intention of being solid first and foremost and, hopefully, winning," he added. "The games in hand are no good to anybody. If we have five games in hand, I'd rather somebody gave us 10 points or even nine points which we could put on the board. "It's all well and good people saying where we could be if we won those games – but we're not."
