Permanent Pools deal for Larkin

The 27-year-old, who left the Cobblers on a free transfer earlier this summer, has impressed director of sport Chris Turner during pre-season and has now penned a permanent contract at Victoria Park.[LNB]"I have known Colin since he was 16," Turner told his club's official website. "Once again, the thing about it all is that I know what he can do, what he can bring to us.[LNB]"He has the pace to get behind and hold the ball up well. By bringing Colin in, it adds to the quality strikers that we all have in place."[LNB]Larkin began his career with Wolves, and had a loan spell at Kidderminster before signing for Mansfield in 2002.[LNB]He spent three years at Field Mill, scoring 25 goals in 92 games, before leaving for Chesterfield.[LNB][LNB]
