John-Joe O'Toole misses out again for Northampton

Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole is likely to be missing again for Northampton's Sky Bet League One clash with Shrewsbury.

O'Toole, the Cobblers' leading goalscorer with 12 this term, missed Good Friday's 3-0 defeat to Millwall with a nagging groin injury and is again set to be sidelined.

Northampton boss Justin Edinburgh has no other fresh injury worries to contend with.

Gabriel Zakuani and Sam Hoskins remain long-term absentees.

Shrewsbury manager Paul Hurst has to decide which striker to play up alongside Stefan Payne after substituting top scorer Louis Dodds at half-time in the 1-1 home draw with Walsall.

Dodds had hardly trained last week after his wife gave birth on Wednesday but Hurst still selected him to partner Payne, who netted Shrewsbury's late equaliser against the Saddlers.

Hurst switched Dodds for Stephen Humphrys at half-time and has to decide whether he should start with the on-loan Fulham man against Northampton.

Midfielder Abu Ogogo could be back from a knee ligament injury after returning to full training and defender Joe Riley, an unused substitute against Walsall, will look to feature after recovering from an injury to his pelvis.
