Duo could return for Northampton against Oldham

Luke Williams and Brendan Moloney could both be back in the Northampton squad for the visit of Oldham.

Defender Moloney has been out since undergoing knee surgery in November while on-loan forward Williams injured a knee in the defeat at Walsall this month.

Some bad news for the Cobblers is striker Alex Revell will remain on the sidelines until mid-March after aggravating his calf muscle injury.

Northampton boss Justin Edinburgh reported no fresh injury problems following the 3-0 defeat at Fleetwood on Saturday.

Anthony Gerrard is available to return to Oldham's starting line-up after missing the Latics' last two games due to suspension.

Boss John Sheridan hailed his side's display in holding Millwall to a goalless draw on Saturday and a fifth straight game without defeat would significantly ease their relegation worries.

Cameron Dummigan is nearing a return from a hamstring strain but Charles Dunne (pelvis) remains absent.

Midfielder Ryan Flynn is pushing for a place in the starting line-up after coming on for the final 20 minutes against the Lions.
