Collins banned for Cobblers

Lee Collins is suspended for Northampton's clash at home to League Two leaders Fleetwood.

The defender received his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's 2-1 FA Cup victory at non-league Bishop's Stortford and now serves an automatic one-match ban.

Brentford loanee Stuart Dallas returns to the frame having been denied permission to feature by parent club Brentford.

The game comes just too soon for Clive Platt (calf), Matt Heath (thigh) and Kevin Amankwaah (hamstring), while Roy O'Donovan (hernia), Kelvin Langmead (knee), Lewis Hornby (back) and Alex Nicholls (broken leg) remain on the sidelines.

Fleetwood manager Graham Alexander could name an unchanged line-up.

The Cod Army made it four successive wins in all competitions on Wednesday as they beat Carlisle 2-0 to progress to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area semi-finals, a performance Alexander described as "near to complete as possible".

The League Two leaders will again be without joint top goalscorer Jamille Matt, who will be out for around a month with an ankle injury.

Fleetwood have won five of their seven league games on the road, conceding just five goals in the process.
