No new worries for Northampton

Northampton head into their Sky Bet League One clash against AFC Wimbledon with no new injury concerns.

Jak McCourt, Raheem Hanley, Brendan Moloney, Lawson D'Ath and Rod McDonald are all short of match fitness and remain doubts.

Emmanuel Sonupe could make his first start for the club after featuring as an unused substitute against Oldham, while Sam Hoskins is pushing for a place in the starting line-up.

Cobblers boss Rob Page is expected to make very few changes to his side as they look to preserve their 27-game unbeaten run.

George Francomb and Jon Meades have returned to training for the Dons but are unlikely to feature at Sixfields.

Winger Francomb (knee) and defender Meades (ankle) are both yet to make an appearance this season due to their injuries after playing regularly during last year's promotion campaign.

Boss Neal Ardley has said his side will not adopt a more cautious approach to games following three successive league defeats and elimination from the EFL Cup.

Midfielder Chris Whelpdale played the first half of Tuesday's loss to Scunthorpe on his return from a groin injury and should be fit to be included in the squad.
