Saturday's League Two clash at Sixfields

Northampton Town rounded off their league season at Sixfields on Saturday with a home game against a Barnet side still looking nervously over their shoulders at the relegation trapdoor in League Two.

The Cobblers went into the match having already secured their place in the play-offs but, after a slight wobble in recent weeks, were keen to notch up a morale-boosting victory.

Aidy Boothroyd handed another start to teenage striker David Moyo as big-guns Akinfenwa and Hackett were kept on the bench.

The first half finished goalless as the Bees' large travelling contingent listened intently for news from elsewhere as seven clubs tried to save themselves from the dreaded drop.
