Northampton Town Versus Accrington Stanley

Saturday's big League Two game at Sixfields

A crucial game for both sides at Sixfields on Saturday saw Northampton Town take on Accrington Stanley with both sides in need of the points for different reasons as they battle away at either end of the League Two table.

Home boss Aidy Boothroyd was able to name a fit-again Chris Hackett in his starting line-up having rested the winger for the games against AFC Wimbledon and Exeter City due to niggling injury concerns. He likened having Hackett fit and raring to go as 'like unleashing a new player' for the final 10 games of the season.

Stanley made headlines on Friday evening with the short-term signing of former England international Francis Jeffers. He started on the bench as did Town's top scorer Bayo Akinfenwa.
