With England in action on Friday night and no Premier League or Championship games on Saturday it means a day in the spotlight for Northampton as they host Football League newcomers Crawley Town at Sixfields.
Easy winners of the Blue Square Premier league last season, Crawley's financial muscle saw them installed as clear favourites to repeat the feat in League Two at the first time of asking and Steve Evans' side have justified their odds so far.
Saturday's comfortable win over Plymouth Argyle means Crawley are joint-top of the table with Southend United.
