Bristol Rovers come to Sixfields this Tuesday for another vital League Two fixture in the Cobblers survival bid

Town once again showed their improvement on Saturday when coming within a whisker of beating promotion-chasing Cheltenham but boss Aidy Boothroyd will still be troubled a league table that his side at the foot of the Football League.

Speaking after a last-gasp goal denied his side all three points, Boothroyd told BBC Radio Northampton: "It won't be difficult to lift them back up because they're professionals and they want to do well and this lot are having a go."

Bristol Rovers' fortunes have taken a sharp upturn since the appointment of Mark McGhee as manager and they now lie comfortably in mid-table.
