Northampton boss eyes three wins

Ian Sampson remained upbeat after defeat at the Don Valley Stadium. Sampson felt that the key decisions in Tuesday night's game against Rotherham went against his side, who were reduced to nine men by the end but was pleased with the overall performance. Town have twelve points left to play for, starting with Saturday's trip to Rochdale, who will once again be looking to secure promotion following a shock home defeat by Darlington on Tuesday night. Sampson told the official club website: "We are still very much in the mix and if we can get three wins from our last four games I think we will make the play offs." Rochdale were 2-1 winners at Sixfields in the reverse fixture in mid-September.
