New signings on the way for 'inconsistent' Northampton Town
Gary Johnson is hopeful of adding to his Cobblers squad this week The Sixfields supremo was left to rue the inconsistency of his side after they followed up their superb win at AFC Wimbledon in midweek with defeat at Macclesfield on Saturday to leave them floundering in the lower reaches of League Two. Calling on his 'supportive' chairman once again, Johnson said after the Moss Rose clash: "The problems aren’t off the pitch, off the pitch we’re all working very hard to make sure we’re productive." Two late goals settled matters for the home side and Ben Tomlinson, who helped himself to a double, commented: "The spirit in the dressing room is just fantastic. There's so much banter flying around it's just great to be in there."
