McKay missing for Chairboys clash

31 August 2009 17:39
McKay has been called up to the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for games against the Czech Republic and Iceland and will miss out. Manager Stuart Gray is already without forward Adebayo Akinfenwa (shin) while 33-year-old Steve Guinan - who scored in the 3-2 defeat at Burton on Saturday - may be rested for the second of three games in six days. Gary Mulligan should be handed his first start in attack after recovering from an ankle problem while Seb Harris could make his debut after receiving international clearance in time to be on the bench at Burton. Goalkeeper Chris Dunn had a nightmare at the weekend but may have been rested anyway to allow teenager Paul Walker his first start, while Michael Jacobs could also be given a debut in midfield. Gray will still be without John Curtis (thigh), Luke Guttridge (knee) and Liam Davis (foot).
