Marshall to miss Stanley trip
The on-loan Stoke forward suffered a knock to his knee in the final moments of Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield and could be replaced by fellow loanee Romone Rose.
Ryan Gilligan is set to retain his place in the Cobblers midfield after returning to action following a slight knock.
However, manager Stuart Gray still has to cope with a number of injuries, with Luke Guttridge, Danny Jackman (both knee), Liam Davis (foot) and Gary Mulligan (ankle) all currently sidelined.
The Cobblers have still yet to score this season and will be looking for their first win of the 2009-10 campaign on their visit to the Crown Ground.
