Lincoln v Northampton: Battle of the strikers?
Weekend preview Two in-form forwards are the focus of attention as improving Lincoln City take on promotion chasing Northampton Town this weekend. The Imps rise up the table has been sparked by on-loan Leeds United striker Davide Somma, scorer of five goals in five starts during his first month at Sincil Bank. That loan deal has now been extended and the South African will be the man to watch for the Cobblers defence on Saturday. Northampton have a man in form of their own however in Bayo Akinfenwa, a fact acknowledged by opposition boss Chris Sutton. Quoted in the Lincolnshire Echo he said: "He's been too hot to handle for most defences in this league, so it will be interesting to see how our young defenders deal with him. "He's a big boy, he uses his body well and we have to be smart and play with our heads."
