League One switch for Spanish striker
Gary Johnson has confirmed that Guillem Bauza is set for a move away from Sixfields 'We wish him well for the future,' Johnson told the official club website after talks with Bauza revealed that a League One club are poised to sign the player. The Northampton boss, who hopes to have positive news on the transfer front next week, has also confirmed that Liam Davis will be leaving the Cobblers this summer. Bauza made an immediate impact at Sixfields following his move from Hereford United on a short-term deal earlier this year, scoring four goals in ten appearances to put himself in the shop window for a move to a higher division. Former Coventry City man Davis leaves the club after 90 games and 9 goals including vital strikes against Rotherham and Stevenage as Northampton pulled away from the relegation zone in the final weeks of the season.
