Johnson 'proud' as Cobblers edge away

Gary Johnson praised his Northampton team after the 2-2 draw with Wycombe Wanderers Although the promotion chasing Chairboys clawed back a two-goal deficit to deny Johnson a first win as Cobblers boss, the Sixfields supremo nonetheless saw the result as a 'point gained', especially with Barnet's defeat widening the gap to the drop zone by a crucial fraction. "It was a performance that we can be proud of," he told the official club website, praising both his players and the travelling support. "We will take the positives out of this performance in to Friday's game against Rotherham and hopefully we can get the win that everyone wants."
