Bayo Akinfenwa 'does not know' whether he will be at Sixfields next season

The big striker is out of contract at his 'second home' in the summer and may well be making his last appearance for the club at Wembley in Saturday's League Two play-off final.

"Hopefully we will get promoted, and then we will sit down and see what the future holds," he told the Chronicle & Echo.

If the 31-year-old is to bow out for a second time as a Northampton Town player he will leave with an impressive record of 71 league goals from 168 appearances but will be desperate to notch for the first time since the goal that earned a point at AFC Wimbledon in February.
